2025 Asia Cup Team Rosters: Participants, Drops, and Updates – Complete Squad Lists, Injury Reports, and Substitute Announcements

The much-anticipated Asia Cup 2025 is set to take place from September 9 to September 28 in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with eight participating teams vying for the coveted title. The tournament will consist of a total of 19 matches, culminating in the final on September 28.

The eight teams include India, Oman, Pakistan, UAE, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka. Among these, India are the defending champions and the most successful team in the Asia Cup, having won a record eight titles.

In the leadership roles, Rashid Khan will captain Afghanistan, Charith Asalanka will lead Sri Lanka, Jatinder Singh captains Hong Kong, Yasim Murtaza leads Hong Kong, Jatinder Singh leads UAE, and Muhammad Waseem captains the UAE. Suryakumar Yadav will lead India's squad, with Shubman Gill returning as his deputy for the tournament. A surprising decision by Pakistan has seen Salman Ali Agha appointed as their captain, despite continuing to overlook the veteran duo of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan in the leadership setup. Litton Das will lead Bangladesh.

India's squad for the Asia Cup includes Suryakumar Yadav (c), Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh, Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Axar Patel, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakravarthy, Kuldeep Yadav, Harshit Rana, Rinku Singh, Sanju Samson (wk). Notably, Jasprit Bumrah's selection for India's squad was a significant announcement, following reports on his fitness due to workload management.

Sri Lanka's 16-member squad for the Asia Cup includes Charith Asalanka (c), Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis (wk), Kusal Perera (wk), Nuwanidu Fernando, Kamindu Mendis, Kamil Mishara, Dasun Shanaka, Wanindu Hasaranga, Dunith Wellalage, Chamika Karunaratne, Maheesh Theekshana, Dushmantha Chameera, Binura Fernando, Nuwan Thushara, Matheesha Pathirana. Wanindu Hasaranga has returned to the squad after recovering from a hamstring injury.
