National Television Awards 2025: Voting Now Open
The National Television Awards (NTA) have returned for another year, and the excitement is building as the nominees for the 2025 ceremony have been announced.
If you're eager to attend the event, tickets for the ceremony can be purchased at nationaltvawards.com. The big night will take place at London's O2 on 10 September 2025, and will be broadcast live on ITV1.
The nominees for the prestigious awards span a wide range of categories. In the Soap category, Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Hollyoaks, EastEnders, and Casualty have been shortlisted. The Drama Performance gong nominees include Owen Cooper (Adolescence), Stephen Graham, Tom Hardy (MobLand), Rose Ayling-Ellis (Code of Silence), and Vera's Brenda Blethyn.
Comedy fans will be pleased to hear that the nominees for Best Comedy include Brassic, Gavin & Stacey, and Mrs Brown's Boys. However, the search results do not provide information about the candidates for the Best Comedy Series category at the National Television Awards 2025.
In the drama category, Adolescence, Jilly Cooper series Rivals, Code of Silence, Ludwig, and MobLand are nominated for The New Drama award. The Returning Drama award features Gangs of London, Slow Horses, the last ever series of Vera, Call the Midwife, and coming-of-age saga Heartstopper.
Michael McIntyre is nominated for two awards: The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award and for his 25th Year Stand-Up Special. The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award nominees also include The Masked Singer, Would I Lie To You?, The Graham Norton Show, and Michael McIntyre's Big Show.
The Best Serial Drama Performance nominees include Eden Taylor-Draper (Emmerdale), Jacqueline Jossa (EastEnders), and Steve McFadden (EastEnders), as well as Jack P. Shepherd (Coronation Street) and Sue Devaney (Coronation Street).
The best TV Presenter nominees include Ant & Dec, Alison Hammond, Claudia Winkleman, Gary Lineker, and Stacey Solomon.
