The PGA Tour's FedEx Cup Playoffs have reached their final stop, with the Tour Championship taking place at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia. The tournament, which starts today, marks the culmination of a gruelling season and offers a top prize of $10 million.

The course at East Lake Golf Club, par 70 and 7,440 yards long, has seen the Tour Championship hosted 24 times. Notable records include Zach Johnson's course record of 60, set in 2007, and Scottie Scheffler's impressive -30 score when he won the tournament in 2024.

Scheffler, the former runaway FedEx Cup leader and outright sportsbook favourite, has odds of +150 to defend his title. He finished T12th last week at the BMW Championship, but sounded confident following his final round. His consistent success in the Playoffs makes him the clear favourite.

Rory McIlroy, with odds of +850, also poses a strong contender. McIlroy has a strong record at East Lake Golf Club, with multiple victories. He will start his first of four rounds at even par, like everyone else.

Tommy Fleetwood, with odds of +1200, has averaged 67 strokes per round through the first two FedEx Cup Playoff events and nearly won the FedEx St Jude Championship. Fleetwood has a good track record at East Lake Golf Club, finishing T13th without starting strokes in 2024 and T4th in a previous year.

Sam Burns, with odds of +2500, produced a T4th at last week's BMW Championship, firing four rounds in the 60s. His consistent performances could see him challenge for the title.

Other notable players include Russell Henley, Viktor Hovland, Patrick Cantlay, Cameron Young, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, JJ Spaun, Hideki Matsuyama, Ben Griffin, Robert MacIntyre, Maverick McNealy, Sepp Straka, Harris English, Harry Hall, Justin Rose, Keegan Bradley, Corey Conners, Akshay Bhatia, Shane Lowry, Chris Gotterup, Brian Harman, Sungjae Im, Nick Taylor, Jacob Bridgeman, Andrew Novak.

As the Tour Championship gets underway, all eyes will be on Scheffler as he looks to defend his title and secure another major victory. The tournament promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the PGA Tour season.
