Oppo is set to launch its new F31 series on September 15 in India, with three devices expected to join the lineup: the Oppo F31, F31 Pro, and F31 Pro+. According to recent reports, the new series will come with a host of impressive features, including 5G capabilities and a focus on durability.
The Oppo F31 and F31 Pro are expected to feature a 6.57-inch and 6.79-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, respectively. The F31 Pro+, on the other hand, is tipped to have a bigger display. All devices in the series are rumored to have a "360-degree Armor Body" and an "ultra-slim design."
On the optics front, the Oppo F31 could get a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The F31 Pro is expected to feature a 32MP selfie shooter, while the F31 Pro+ could house a 16MP selfie shooter.
Under the hood, the Oppo F31 is expected to run on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, while the F31 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chip. The F31 Pro+, however, is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor.
One of the most exciting features of the new F31 series is its battery life. The Oppo F31 Pro and F31 Pro+ are expected to come with a 7,000mAh battery, while the F31 could have a slightly smaller battery. The phones are also tipped to have 80W of wired fast charging.
In terms of storage, the Oppo F31 Pro+ supports up to 256GB of storage, while the F31 Pro is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The F31 series devices have support for IP66, IP68, and IP69 water and dust resistance rating.
The teaser for the new phones carries the tagline "Durable Champion," hinting at the focus on durability and longevity. If last year's trend holds, the Oppo F31 could be priced in the ₹20,000-25,000 range, the F31 Pro in the ₹25,000-30,000 range, and the F31 Pro+ around ₹30,000-35,000.
