In the past week, several incidents have taken place in various locations across South East Hesse, including burglaries, hit-and-run incidents, and suspected fraudulent activities.

On Dreiturmstraße, Steinau an der Straße, a Pedelec worth 4,500 euros was stolen from a garden between 21:00 and 22:30 hours. Unknown thieves managed to unlock the bike and made away with it.

In a separate incident, unknown individuals gained access to a fitness studio in Nidderau through the basement, but left without any loot.

Two burglaries occurred in Steinau overnight from Saturday to Sunday between 00:00 and 08:00 hours. The houses on Sodener Weg were the target, and so far, a set of tires is the only item reported stolen. Witnesses are asked to contact the criminal police on 06181 100-123.

In Linsengericht, unknown individuals attempted to crack a safe in an office building but fled the scene empty-handed, causing approximately €3,000 in damage.

A white moped was stolen from a parking lot in Hermann-Ehlers-Straße, Hanau, with the theft occurring between 12 and 17 PM on Saturday.

A hit-and-run incident occurred on state road 3196 in Steinau an der Straße, involving a 23-year-old motorcyclist and a silver Audi. The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries, and his Honda sustained damages worth approximately 1,300 euros.

In Hanau, a 39-year-old was suspected of using a forged driver's license and driving without a valid license after presenting a foreign driver's license to police officers.
