Vacheron Constantin Unveils Two New Variants of the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin

Vacheron Constantin, a renowned Swiss watchmaker celebrating its 270th anniversary, has announced the release of two new variants of the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin. The timepieces maintain the slim proportions, technical sophistication, and sporty elegance first introduced in 2016.

At the heart of these new models is the in-house caliber 1120 QP/1, an automatic movement with a height of just 4.05 millimeters. This movement, developed by Vacheron Constantin, drives the hours, minutes, moon phase, and an eternal calendar that corrects the date automatically and does not require manual adjustment until the year 2100. The movement boasts 276 components, 36 ruby jewels, and a frequency of 19,800 semi-oscillations per hour.

The new variants come in 18-karat rose gold with a gold-colored dial or in 18-karat white gold with a deep red lacquered dial. The rose gold model features a harmonious tonal look, with case, bracelet, dial, and moon phase coordinated. A fine blue minute track provides subtle accents in the rose gold model. The white gold version of the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin features a Bordeaux red dial with a matching moon phase and white markings and indices.

Both new models have a 41.5-millimeter case with a height of just 8.1 millimeters. The elaborately finished movement is visible through a sapphire crystal case back, featuring Côtes de Genève, perlage, and a 22-karat gold oscillating weight decorated with a compass rose.

The Overseas line offers versatility with a practical interchange system that allows the solid gold bracelet to be replaced with two supplied rubber straps without tools. The rose gold model comes with blue and white straps, while the white gold version comes with white and Bordeaux straps.

The new Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin models are boutique-exclusive timepieces and part of the regular collection, not a limited edition. They are available now in Vacheron Constantin boutiques worldwide. The price of these new models is 134,000 euros.

Since 2016, the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin has stood for slim proportions, technical sophistication, and sporty elegance. These latest additions continue that tradition, offering a timeless and elegant choice for watch enthusiasts.
