A movie created by a Fil-Am director, starring Princess Punzalan, will debut in Los Angeles and New York.

Directed by Myra Aquino, the film is set to make its world premiere at the 28th LA Shorts International Film Festival on July 28, where it will close the event at Regal LA Live in downtown Los Angeles at 10 p.m. The film will also have its New York premiere at the 12th Chain NYC Film Festival on July 31, at 8 p.m. at the Chain Theater in Manhattan.
Ariel Felix, a six-time Emmy nominee, wrote, produced, and stars in the film. The all-Fil-Am cast includes Emy Coligado, Evan D'Angeles, and Princess Punzalan, who is one of the actresses in the film. The crew is 95 percent Filipino, with Mike Maliwanag, whose films have screened at Sundance and Tribeca, serving as the Director of Photography.
Ben Bulatao, another notable figure in the film industry, is the editor of "Get Your Story Straight". Rapper Headband Andy lends his talent to the film by composing the music.
Arthur Felix serves as the executive producer for the film, and it's worth noting that the director of the film is not publicly listed.
