A person reported a theft in Hamburg-Wellingsbüttel.

In the quiet neighbourhood of Wellingsbüttel, Hamburg, a distressing incident occurred on August 27, 2025, between 16:30 and 17:00, at Wellingsbüttler Weg. A 75-year-old woman was burglarized in her apartment, with valuable items stolen and the elderly woman left traumatised.

Two unknown men forced their way into the apartment, pushing the woman to the ground and threatening her. One robber searched the apartment while the other kept the woman restrained. The robbers locked the elderly woman in a storage room before escaping undetected.

The Homicide Squad (LKA 26) initially investigated the scene but has since handed it over to the Robbery Squad. The Police Authority has not disclosed the first names of the suspects involved in the investigation.

The police are appealing to the public for help in identifying the robbers. Suspect 1 is described by witnesses as approximately 1.85 meters tall, with short dark hair, a beard, and a slim build. Suspect 2 is described as approximately 1.75 meters tall, with a medium build, and a light complexion.

A search involving around half a dozen patrol cars was conducted, but the suspects were not captured. The Police Authority is seeking witnesses regarding the incident.
