A27 experiences full shutdown due to a traffic accident

On Monday morning, a traffic accident occurred on the A27 at the Vahr interchange in the direction of Hannover. The incident, which occurred around 10:50 AM, involved two cars and resulted in a closure of the highway for over three hours.

The initial collision involved a 27-year-old driver in a Mercedes who failed to notice a traffic jam and collided with a Volkswagen. A 27-year-old driver in the Volkswagen had braked sharply due to traffic backing up at the Neue Vahr Nord interchange. Unfortunately, another driver hit the Mercedes from behind after the initial collision.

As a result of the accident, two people were injured and were taken to the hospital for further treatment. All vehicles involved in the accident sustained material damage.

The Bremen Police's traffic commission is conducting the investigation into the accident.
