A crime took place at a DIY store in Gescher, Mühlengrund, on August 30, 2025, at 23:55. According to information transmitted by the Kreispolizeibehörde Borken, two unknown individuals forced open an office window and entered the store. However, they fled without any loot after an alarm was triggered.
During the incident, a resident heard noise around midnight and saw two men running towards the K+K Market. Witnesses described the perpetrators as two tall men with short hair, one muscular and one stocky.
An alarm was triggered, causing the perpetrators to flee the building. A witness reported hearing a shout "Run, run!" during the incident. The police are seeking witnesses related to the crime in Gescher, Muhlengrund.
