In the past week, several incidents have been reported across Lower Saxony, Germany. Here's a round-up of the latest developments.

On February 1, 2025, a series of traffic and crime-related incidents occurred. In Uelzen, a 19-year-old was stopped while riding an e-scooter without valid insurance on Nothmann Street. The same day, another incident took place between Jelmstorf and Medingen where a 40-year-old driver of a small motorbike was stopped during a traffic control. The driver, who could not present a valid driver's license, tested at 0.58% BAC. Proceedings have been initiated against both individuals.

In Lüneburg, on September 9, 2025, a 44-year-old man was arrested after stealing alcohol in a supermarket and getting into a physical altercation with an employee. Both parties sustained minor injuries. The same day, a 40-year-old man was suspected of attempting a break-in in cellar rooms, and an unknown individual was responsible for a burglary at a law firm from September 14 to 15, 2025.

On September 14, 2025, a 39-year-old man without a fixed address was arrested in Uelzen after illegal substances were found. However, a warrant for his arrest was later revoked. Additionally, a 41-year-old driver was stopped with a BAC of 2.2 Promille and without a valid driver's license.

In a separate incident on February 1, 2025, at around 20:30, a 28-year-old driver of a Mercedes drove off the road between the Tatern junction and Rätzlingen, causing several thousand euros in damages to the vehicle, guardrail, and tree. The driver, who sustained slight injuries, tested at 1.25% BAC. Proceedings have been initiated against the 28-year-old, and his driver's license was seized.

Between 13:15 and 13:25 on February 1, 2025, a hit-and-run incident occurred on a parking lot in Bahnhof Street, Bad Bevensen. A parked VW T-Cross was damaged, but the perpetrator remains unknown.

For Lüchow-Dannenberg, there are no specific arrests or investigations to report in the past few days.
