Accidents on the Road: Motorcycle mishaps, Road Traffic Injuries, Pedestrian Accidents, Vehicle Destruction, Burglaries
In a series of incidents over the past week, several traffic accidents and unusual occurrences have taken place across Baden-Württemberg.
On Sunday evening, a 53-year-old man caused extensive property damage at the roundabout Neue Rottweiler Straße / Kaullastraße, fleeing the scene with an alcohol level over 0.9 promille. Elsewhere, a 35-year-old man was lightly injured in a traffic accident on Mössinger Straße, causing approximately €1,500 in damage to his Renault Clio.
In Metzingen, two e-bike riders were slightly injured in a collision due to disregard for the right-of-way rule. Initial findings suggest a 17-year-old cyclist sustained minor injuries in a traffic accident on Sunday afternoon on the K6903. A motorcyclist fell on Sunday evening in Bisingen, resulting in approximately €1,500 in damage to her Kawasaki Z900.
Unfortunately, a 13-year-old girl was lightly injured in a traffic accident on Saturday afternoon on Bahnhofstraße in Reutlingen, and a child was injured in a traffic accident in Reichenbach, but no further details are provided.
In a non-traffic related incident, an 80-year-old woman died in a hiking accident near the Ruined Castle of Rauber on Sunday morning.
On the positive side, traffic police in Reutlingen checked motorcycles on Sunday, finding 8 with defects and violations.
