Accidents on the roadways, break-ins, overseeing traffic flow, and a federal road being blocked due to canine-related incidents, according to Polish law enforcement.
In a series of events across Southwest Germany, several traffic incidents and a break-in at a recycling facility were reported on Tuesday.
In Metzingen, a traffic accident involving a motorcyclist occurred on Ulmer Straße in the afternoon. A 39-year-old man, while turning left from the Drosselweg onto the Nürtinger Straße with a VW Golf at around 5:30 pm, failed to notice a priority cyclist on a mountain bike approaching from the left. The collision caused the motorcyclist to be thrown to the left and fall to the ground, resulting in injuries that required medical attention. The driver now faces corresponding charges.
In a separate incident in Neckarhausen, a cyclist sustained minor injuries in a traffic accident. A 41-year-old man, while pulling out with a VW Passat from a car dealership parking lot, failed to notice a priority motorcyclist on a BMW approaching from the left. The cyclist fell to the ground and sustained injuries. The man decided to seek medical treatment independently.
In Esslingen, an unknown individual broke into a recycling facility in Hohenheimer Straße overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday, making off with a compressor of the Elmag BOY brand. The damage to the container door is estimated at around 500 euros.
Meanwhile, in Tübingen, a Sprinter driver was pulled over by police on Tuesday afternoon on the B 27 near Tübingen, with the total material damage amounting to several hundred euros.
In a more unusual incident, two loose dogs caused the temporary closure of the B 27 in the area of the Wessinger Hollow on Tuesday. The dogs were caught by a passing motorist and their owners.
In Eningen, a four-year-old girl was involved in a traffic accident with a stationary VW Touran on Tuesday afternoon. The girl sustained minor injuries and was taken to a clinic by ambulance. The driver had a current driving ban due to multiple instances of driving without a license.
Unfortunately, the search results do not provide information about which female driver from Hechingen was suspected by the police in Reutlingen on Wednesday of driving without a valid license.
The B 27 closure was lifted at 6:20 PM, following the incidents. The Berkheim-Zollberg police station has taken up the investigation into the Metzingen traffic accident.
