Las Vegas Aces Extend Win Streak to 14 Games
The Las Vegas Aces continue their impressive form in the WNBA, extending their winning streak to 14 games after a 80-66 victory over the Chicago Sky on Tuesday night.
The Aces are currently tied with Atlanta for second place in the standings, and are a game ahead of Phoenix. Their current win streak is tied for the fourth-longest in WNBA regular-season history, just short of the record 18 games set by the Los Angeles Sparks in 2001.
Star player A'ja Wilson led the way for the Aces, scoring an impressive 31 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Jackie Young also contributed with 20 points and nine assists, while Kelsey Plum added 14 points.
For the Chicago Sky, Michaela Onyenwere scored 12 points, while Rachel Banham and Kamilla Cardoso added 12 and 10 points respectively. Cardoso also pulled down 15 rebounds.
Unfortunately, the Sky were without Angel Reese due to a suspension and a back injury, while NaLyssa Smith was out for the Aces due to concussion protocol.
The next meeting between these two teams is scheduled for September 10, 2025. Until then, the Aces will look to continue their impressive form and challenge for the top spot in the WNBA standings.
