Actor Eric Stonestreet Ties the Knot on His Birthday
Eric Stonestreet, the beloved actor known for his role as Cameron "Cam" Tucker in the hit TV show "Modern Family," got married on his 54th birthday. The wedding took place on Tuesday, and Stonestreet shared the joyous news on his Instagram account, which has 2.6 million followers.
Stonestreet's on-screen husband in "Modern Family," Jesse Tyler Ferguson, was among the first to congratulate the couple. Ferguson wrote, "I love you both! I'm so happy for you!" Other celebrities like singer Michael Bublé and former footballer David Beckham also sent their congratulations or liked the post.
The groom, Stonestreet, played a gay family father in "Modern Family" for eleven seasons alongside Ferguson's character, Mitchell "Mitch" Pritchett. The couple first met in 2016 at a charity event at a children's hospital in Stonestreet's hometown of Kansas City.
Lindsay Schweitzer, a pediatric nurse, is Stonestreet's partner. She is a mother of twin boys from a previous relationship and is known for her kindness and sense of humor that complements Stonestreet’s personality. The couple got engaged in 2021 and were married in 2022.
