It's Thursday morning in New York City, and the city is buzzing with news.

Mayor Eric Adams' reelection campaign has suspended longtime aide Winnie Greco following a report that she gave a reporter from The City an empty bag of sour cream and onion potato chips with a red envelope full of cash inside. The red envelope and the empty bag of chips have since been handed over to prosecutors.

Meanwhile, another longtime Adams aide, Ingrid Lewis-Martin, will be in Manhattan state court today to face new unspecified charges. Last year, Lewis-Martin was indicted on bribery charges, but there are currently no publicly available search results indicating who has charged her or when the newly announced vague charges against her will be presented in Manhattan state court.

Elsewhere in the city, there's potential for 13-foot waves. Residents are advised to exercise caution near the coast.

In other news, the New York State Fair's famed 25-cent milk bar will feature strawberry milk this year.

In a separate development, U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents detained dozens of immigrants yesterday during a raid in Edison, New Jersey, at a warehouse for online retailers.

And finally, in a lighter note, Thongs are back in fashion.

In a recent interview, New York State Assembly Member Zohran Mamdani shared that when asked, "If you were without home or ability to earn, do you have anyone you can turn to for shelter and financial support?" he responded, "Famously, my parents."

Lastly, let's rally behind Yonkers' own Rizo "Rizz God" Velovic in season 49 of "Survivor."
