Additional young researchers receive recognition with certificates granted

In a significant step towards enhancing the country's scientific development, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has determined a list of young scientists from scientific organizations and higher and postgraduate educational institutions under state bodies for housing provision in Almaty.

This move is part of a larger program aimed at providing housing to young scientists, as part of efforts to create necessary conditions for scientific development. The provision of housing to young scientists is one of the key directions in this process, and it is expected to support young specialists and inspire them to achieve new heights in scientific research.

The program is not limited to housing provision alone. The ministry is also taking steps to enhance the social status of scientists and stimulate the influx of young professionals into science, following the president's instructions. This includes an agreement on the program of preferential lending for young scientists for the years 2023-2027.

The response to this initiative has been overwhelming, with around 300 applications received from scientific organizations and higher educational institutions under state bodies located in Almaty. Under this program, 477 young scientists have already received preferential housing.

On October 19, 2023, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and AO "Otabasy Bank." This agreement is expected to further facilitate the provision of housing to young scientists.

Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education Gulsat Kob-enova presented certificates for apartments to eight young scientists at a festive event. This presentation was in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The ministry's efforts are expected to have a positive impact on scientific development, the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, and the creation of new economic clusters. Increasing the number of young scientists will be instrumental in achieving these goals.

However, as of October 19, 2023, there are no available search results naming the young scientists under 40 from Kazakh research institutes and universities who received housing certificates from the Kazakh government between June 30, 2023, and October 19, 2023. It is hoped that this information will be made available soon, providing a clearer picture of the impact of this initiative.
