Francois Davy, currently the director of sales and marketing of the mail division at La Poste, the French Postal Services, will take over as the Country Manager of the group's France operations starting January 1, 2007.
Francois Davy, who is 50 years old, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He started his career in various marketing and sales functions at Bel and Danone before moving on to Cadbury Schweppes France and Motorola, where he served as the Head of Motorola's European operations. His most recent position was at La Poste, where he has been instrumental in driving sales and marketing efforts.
The group's France operations, which is its largest single market, reported sales of over 5 billion Euro in the first 9 months of 2006.
