Advertising firm appoints top executive to head corporate communications and international partnerships for global marketing
Adecco Appoints Stephan Howeg as Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications and Global Marketing Partnerships
In a significant move, the world's largest human resource solutions provider, Adecco, has announced the appointment of Stephan Howeg as the new Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications and Global Marketing Partnerships. The group, headquartered in Switzerland, connects over 700,000 associates with business clients each day, and its network consists of 33,000 employees and 6,600 offices in over 70 countries and territories.
Stephan Howeg, a seasoned professional in global business and communications management, will commence his role on February 1, 2007. He holds a University degree from the University of Zurich and has a rich career history in Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications, Investor Relations, and Public Affairs.
From 1997 to 2001, Stephan Howeg was the Head of Corporate Communications & Marketing Communications for Sunrise (TDC Switzerland AG). He then served as the Chief Communications Officer for cablecom, the leading Swiss cable operator, from May 2003 to December 2006. Between 2001 and 2003, he was the Senior Vice President responsible for Corporate Communications & Investor Relations for Ascom, an international Telecommunications supplier active in more than 15 countries.
The predecessor of Stephan Howeg in this role has not been publicly disclosed. However, it is clear that his extensive experience in the field will be a valuable asset to Adecco. In his new role, Stephan Howeg will be responsible for Adecco's global Public Relations and Internal Communications, as well as its worldwide marketing partnerships, including sponsorships.
Stephan Howeg, a Swiss national, brings a unique perspective to Adecco, having been educated in his home country. He was educated in Switzerland, with his University degree coming from the University of Zurich.
