Sheremetyevo Airport, Moscow - A glitch in Aeroflot's information systems has resulted in the cancellation of 54 flights, causing disruptions to the airline's operations. The incident has been taken under control by the prosecutor's office, ensuring that the situation is being managed effectively.

In response to the issue, Deputy Minister Vladimir Poteshkin held a meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Transport, Rosaviatsiya, Sheremetyevo, and Aeroflot to discuss measures for stabilizing the airline's operations. However, no further details about the meeting or any potential negotiations with alternative carriers have been disclosed.

Despite the flight cancellations, passengers can still access essential airport facilities around the clock. 24/7 access is granted to mother-and-child rooms, children's zones, and facilities for passengers with disabilities at the airport. Information desks are also available, providing the flight schedule in both Russian and English.

In terms of passenger services, priority is given to passengers with children, mobility-impaired passengers, and participants in the SVO for ticket office services and rebooking procedures. Passengers are also provided with free drinking water at the airport.

Regarding the prioritized flight schedule, Aeroflot's operations primarily focus on routes to the Far East, Kaliningrad, Sochi, Mineralnye Vody, and international destinations, including flights on wide-body aircraft. No mention has been made of changes to this schedule or any further reductions in flights on specific routes.

Negotiations are currently underway with alternative carriers to regulate ticket prices, aiming to minimize inconvenience for affected passengers. The operation of ticket offices and procedures for rebooking tickets have been organized, although no new information about these operations or changes in the processes has been released.

As the situation continues to develop, passengers are advised to regularly check the flight status and consult airport staff for the most up-to-date information.
