After the fatal fire in Wilhelmshaven, the Police are still seeking public assistance in their ongoing investigation
Police Appeal for Information Regarding Fatal Apartment Fire in Market Street
The Police Inspectorate Wilhelmshaven/Friesland is urgently seeking information from the public regarding a fatal apartment fire that occurred on June 23, 2025, in Market Street.
On July 3, 2025, a tip-off portal was activated for information related to the incident. The portal, which can be accessed at [tip-off portal URL], accepts tips, as well as photo and video files, that could be relevant to the case.
Approximately a dozen tips have been received so far, and these are being intensively reviewed and evaluated by the investigators. Anyone who observed anything suspicious in the area of Market Street / Stock Exchange Street, especially during the night from Sunday, 22.06.2025 to Monday, 23.06.2025, around 02:00, is asked to come forward.
The Police Inspectorate Wilhelmshaven/Friesland has established an investigation team for this case and is actively working to uncover the cause of the fire. The tips received are a valuable resource in this process, and any additional information could help bring closure to the victims' families.
