AI lab for women advances to next phase

In the heart of Wiesbaden, a unique learning opportunity for women is about to unfold. The FemAILab, a joint initiative between the Smart City, Europe, and Order Department and BerufsWege für Frauen e. V., is set to provide a space exclusively for women to engage with Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Maral Koohestanian, Head of Smart City, Europe, and Order, and Karin Siepmann, Digital and Europe Advisor at BerufsWege für Frauen e. V., are spearheading this initiative, emphasizing the importance of creating a platform for women to explore AI.

The FemAILab, part of the open learning laboratory and a "Community of Practice," invites all women who wish to engage with AI. To participate, simply register via [www.berufswege-fuer-frauen.de/portfolio/workshop-femaillab] before the event day at 12:00 PM.

Each event begins with brief introductions to the most important topics around AI. Participants can then learn together, exchange ideas, and receive support from each other. An experienced AI coach will accompany the learning process.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own devices, such as laptops, tablets, or smartphones, and their own learning wishes. The FemAILab takes place at the Zukunftswerk Wiesbaden in the Luisenforum, Kirchgasse 6, 2nd floor (near the bridge).

Karin Siepmann highlights the significance of the lively learning ecosystem created for women, stating that it encourages active participation and fosters a supportive environment. Maral Koohestanian underscores the importance of creating a space where women can engage with AI, emphasizing that learning takes place right in the middle of life and the city.

For any questions regarding the FemAILab, please contact the responsible department or office. The publisher of this press release is the Press Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden.
