AI lab for women advances to the next round
The FemAILab, a new initiative aimed at encouraging women to engage with Artificial Intelligence (AI), is now open to all female participants in Wiesbaden. This innovative learning laboratory and community of practice is located in the city centre, specifically at the Zukunftswerk Wiesbaden in the Luisenforum, Kirchgasse 6, on the 2nd floor (near the bridge).
This project, a joint cooperation between the Smart City, Europe, and Order Department and BerufsWege für Frauen e.V., invites women to learn together, exchange ideas, and support each other in the rapidly evolving field of AI. Each event is designed to be an open learning laboratory, fostering a lively learning ecosystem where every woman can find her own way with AI.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own learning wishes and devices, such as laptops, tablets, or smartphones, to the FemAILab. The event offers individual and small group work accompanied by an experienced AI coach. At the beginning of each event, participants receive brief introductions to AI basics and practical application areas.
Maral Koohestanian, Head of the Smart City, Europe, and Order Department, emphasizes the importance of creating a space for women to engage with AI. She states, "Women shape the future together in AI." Karin Siepmann, Digital and Europe Advisor at BerufsWege für Frauen e.V., highlights the significance of the event, saying, "The FemAILab provides a unique opportunity for women to explore AI and find their own path."
