Dirk Inger Joins AIDA Cruises as Senior Vice President
Dirk Inger, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in federal ministries and the travel industry, has joined AIDA Cruises as Senior Vice President for Public Affairs, Communication, and Sustainability. His appointment is effective from June 1st.
In his new role, Inger will report directly to Felix Eichhorn, President of AIDA Cruises, and will oversee political representation, communication, and sustainability at the cruise line.
Prior to his appointment at AIDA Cruises, Inger served as the CEO of the German Travel Association (DRV) for a decade. Before that, he held various positions in different federal ministries. Notably, he served as the head of communication and spokesperson for the Federal Ministry of Transport.
Inger's extensive background in communication and sustainability, combined with his political experience, makes him a valuable addition to the AIDA Cruises Executive Team, where he will join Eichhorn and other key executives in steering the company's strategic direction.
With his appointment, AIDA Cruises continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices, aligning with the broader industry trend towards greener and more sustainable operations.
