The city of Astana, formerly known as Nur-Sultan, will be undergoing roadworks on Akbiday Street from September 6 to 7. The local municipal government, specifically the urban development and infrastructure departments, will be responsible for these measures.

The section of Akbiday Street, from Ondiris Street to Kokshe Kemenğeruly Street, will be partially closed during the roadworks. The objective is to lay the top layer of asphalt on this stretch of the street.

To minimise inconvenience and ensure safety, temporary road signs and directions will be installed. However, it is important to note that these signs and directions will not apply to the tunnel on Baraev Street, which remains closed and has not yet announced a new opening date.

Drivers and pedestrians are advised to plan their routes in advance, as the roadworks may affect traffic in the area of Akbiday Street on the specified dates. It is also worth noting that the roadworks on Akbiday Street may not affect the opening of the tunnel on Baraev Street.

The city's residents and guests are being informed about these roadworks through various channels. The city's transport and road infrastructure development department is overseeing the project to ensure its successful completion.

In light of these roadworks, it is crucial to exercise caution and patience on the roads of Astana. We encourage everyone to plan their journeys accordingly and to adhere to the temporary road signs and directions for their safety and the safety of others.
