Alcohol-impaired motorist accidents reported by Polish authorities

In the early hours of Sunday morning, a serious accident occurred on state road L205 near the junction of L205 and L194. The incident involved a 62-year-old man from Seelfingen, who was driving a Ford at the time.

According to preliminary investigations, the man veered off the road and ran over a traffic island, knocking down three traffic signs in the process. An alcohol test conducted during the investigation revealed a blood alcohol level of over 2.3 per mille for the driver, leading to the suspicion of drunk driving.

As a result of the accident, the extent of the damage caused is still unknown. The 62-year-old man will face a criminal charge for causing an accident under the influence of alcohol.
