Alert: Salisbury Township Board of Supervisors has announced its decision during their meeting.
The Salisbury Township Board of Supervisors is considering an ordinance on September 16, 2025, aimed at amending the Code of Ordinances of Salisbury Township, Chapter 296, Stormwater Management. A public notice was published on 09/06/2025 regarding this proposed ordinance.
The proposed amendment includes technical corrections and updates to certain provisions within Chapter 296. The ordinance also amends and revises several articles and sections of the chapter.
The ordinance adds a new Appendix K to Chapter 296. It amends Article III, Storm Water Management Standards, and adds statements of purposes and findings, as well as new sections governing MS4 protection and reduction of pollutants in storm water.
The ordinance also amends Article IV, Storm Water Management Site Plans, and revises Chapter 296, Article V, Plan Processing Procedures. It further amends Article VI, Operations and Maintenance (O & M), and Article VIII, Prohibitions, in their entirety. The ordinance also amends Section 296-50 concerning waivers and modifications.
The proposed ordinance does not provide any new information about the revisions to Article V, Plan Processing Procedures, or Article VI, Operations and Maintenance (O & M), in its entirety. It also does not provide new information about the technical corrections, updates, or additions to Chapter 296, the statements of purposes and findings, or the new sections governing MS4 protection and reduction of pollutants in storm water.
The public notice does not provide a location to examine or obtain a copy of the proposed ordinance, as this information was previously provided. A copy of the proposed ordinance may be examined or obtained at specified locations.
