Alexandria's Mayor to Engage with Community in Monthly Public Dialogue

On Tuesday, September 2, at 11 a.m., Alexandria Mayor Alyia Gaskins will host a live virtual discussion as part of the 'Ask The Mayor' series. This monthly event offers residents an opportunity to hear directly from the Mayor on pressing city issues.

The conversation, which will last approximately 30 minutes, will be hosted by ALXnow Publisher Ryan Belmore. The live stream will be available on ALXnow's website and all social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.

The discussion format encourages direct community engagement on topics affecting Alexandria residents. Community members can also pose questions in real-time during the live broadcast. For those unable to watch live, the full conversation will be available afterward on any of these platforms.

In addition, community members can submit questions in advance through a Google form. A follow-up story will be published after each conversation.
