Alleged Break-in Attempt in Zeulenroda Townships

On the evening of February 15, 2025, an unusual incident occurred in a multi-family dwelling on Schleizer Straße, Zeulenroda-Triebes. At around 11:00 PM, three unknown individuals attempted to break into an apartment unit in the building.

The Greiz Police Inspectorate is currently investigating the case, which has been classified as an attempted theft under aggravated circumstances. The perpetrators, described as two men and one woman, approximately 170 cm tall and aged 25-35, managed to enter the building but were unable to gain access to the apartment.

The woman among the suspects was reported to have visible tattoos. The trio claimed to be visitors and were allowed access into the building. However, they later tried to force their way into the apartment using tools, but their efforts were unsuccessful.

As a result of their attempted break-in, the perpetrators caused an estimated 200 EUR worth of damage to the apartment door. Immediate search efforts by the Greiz Police Inspectorate were unsuccessful, and the suspects have yet to be identified.
