Altimira's faith remains intact following Eintracht's latest endeavor

Betis Sevilla's midfielder, Sergi Altimira, has been a subject of transfer discussions in recent months, with various clubs showing interest in his services. The Spanish club has so far rejected offers from VfB Stuttgart, Eintracht, Manchester City, Everton, and others, as they believe that Altimira is an important part of their team.

The last negotiation regarding Altimira's transfer before the market closed was led by VfB Stuttgart, but Betis Sevilla rejected the offer. There is no specific individual named as leading the negotiation in the search results. In the previous campaign, Altimira participated in 51 games across all competitions, demonstrating his importance to the team.

The value of Altimira has significantly increased since Betis Sevilla paid two million euros for him in the summer of 2023. His current value is now estimated at 15 million euros. This increased transfer value in the future could benefit Betis, but for now, they are determined to keep him.

The arrival of Sofyan Amrabat further increases the competition in Betis' midfield. Altimira has started in all four games played so far this season, and his performances have been impressive. Injuries to players like William Carvalho, Marc Roca, and Johnny Cardoso last season helped Altimira gain more presence in his second season with Betis.

Eintracht proposed a loan with an obligation to buy of over 20 million euros for Altimira, with conditions attached. However, Betis rejected the proposal as Roca and Deossa were recovering, and the team was in full competition. Manchester City had Altimira on their radar in a previous transfer window, but the Spanish club decided to keep him.

Altimira received interest from clubs in the Bundesliga and the Premier League, but Betis was not willing to let him go. Stuttgart and Everton also made proposals for Altimira, but they were rejected. Subscription is necessary to access certain features, and logging in requires a subscription.

Samuel Silva, a registered user, commented on Altimira's performances, saying, "He's been a key player for Betis this season. His performances have been impressive, and I think he deserves to be playing at a higher level. However, I'm glad he's staying with us for now."

The competition in Betis' midfield is once again strong, with Altimira, Amrabat, Carvalho, Roca, and Cardoso all vying for a place in the starting lineup. It remains to be seen whether Altimira will stay with the club for the long term or if he will be transferred to another club in the future. However, for now, Betis is confident that this year will be the one in which Altimira confirms his place among the elite.
