Announcement: Celebrating 25 years of the Chrismon tradition:

On October 24, 2025, the Evangelische Akademie Frankfurt will play host to the "Hope Congress," an event organised by the Gemeinschaftswerk der Evangelischen Publizistik (GEP), the central media company of the Evangelical Church in Germany. This special occasion marks the 25th anniversary of the evangelical magazine chrismon.

The "Hope Congress" aims to focus on hope, dreams, and joy in challenging times marked by crises, wars, and climate change. It promises to be a unique gathering, offering practical tools to strengthen hope in everyday life through workshops, discussions, and creative impulses.

The event will feature a diverse range of speakers, including psychologist Stephan Gruenewald, who will deliver a keynote speech on mental stability during crises. Theologian Frederike van Oorschot will discuss what trust in God means today, while writer Friedrich Ani will demonstrate how words can change perspectives.

TV presenter Willi Weitzel will speak about the power of dreams and their encouragement, and art comedian Jakob Schwerdtfeger will perform a humorous stage program, explaining masterpieces of art history in a light-hearted manner.

In addition to the intellectual stimulation, the "Hope Congress" will also provide a festive atmosphere. A buffet and cocktails will be served, making it a perfect opportunity to network and engage with like-minded individuals.

Tickets and information for the "Hope Congress" can be found at https://chrismon.de/25jahre. The GEP, under the head of the management team Sabine Korb-Chrosch, also carries the epd central editorial office and the Internet portal evangelisch.de, and manages the evangelical content network yeet.

The single power of attorney of the GEP is Bert Wegener, and the chairwoman of the supervisory board is Church President Dorothee Wüst. The "Hope Congress" is a celebration of chrismon's 25th anniversary, and the editorial team wants to demonstrate that there are ways out of the crisis and that they are taking them together.

Join us on October 24, 2025, in Frankfurt am Main, as we come together to strengthen our hope, dreams, and joy in challenging times. Let's celebrate resilience and look forward to a brighter future.
