New Audi A5 and S5 Coupes Unveiled
The automotive world is abuzz with the latest offering from Audi - the 2017 Audi A5 and S5 Coupes. These stylish vehicles, available in both Coupe and Sportback configurations, are set to hit the market in late Summer 2016.
The Audi A5 S Line comes equipped with a host of additional features, including 19'' alloys, Sports suspension, S Line styling, Privacy Glass, and Sports seats. On the other hand, the 2017 Audi S5 is initially available only in Edition 1 trim, boasting 20'' alloys, Matrix LED lights, Black Styling, red callipers, electric memory front seats, MMI passenger display, and added safety features.
The new models have undergone design improvements, possibly influenced by Porsche, and have also seen significant advancements in technology. The 2017 Audi A5 and S5 now feature improved aerodynamics and less weight, making them more efficient and agile on the road.
Under the hood, the Audi A5 comes with a range of engines, including a four-pot petrol, a 2.0-litre diesel, and a V6 3.0-litre for the S5. The A5 Sport - Saloon and Avant - can be had with the 148bhp petrol engine, 201bhp petrol, or 201bhp diesel. Unfortunately, the V8 engine is no longer available in the S5.
In terms of pricing, the new Audi A5 starts at £30,700 for the Coupe in the UK. The new Audi S5, initially available only in Edition 1 trim, costs from £68,700.
In Germany, the new Audi S5 Saloon price starts at around €46,450, with used models typically ranging between approximately €36,900 and €71,686 depending on year and condition. No specific current price for the Audi S5 Saloon in the United States could be found.
The A5 Sport - Saloon and Avant - come with features like 18'' alloys, LED lights, ambient lighting, reversing camera, wireless phone charging, 'Sport' styling, 14.5'' infotainment, heated front seats, Climate, Parking System Plus with 360 display, and A adaptive cruise.
