Apartment Complex in Southwest Houston Suffers 16 Units of Fire Damage

The Houston Fire Department recently responded to a fire at an unspecified location, with the Southwest Houston Fire Department and local fire investigators also on the scene to investigate the origin of the fire in a residential complex on Sandpiper Drive.

According to the Houston Fire Department, one of their units encountered a mechanical issue during the firefighting efforts. As a result, crews had to call a reset, pulling the truck with the mechanical issue and the crew out. Fortunately, the department was able to put another engine in place to continue the fight against the flames.

Thankfully, no injuries have been reported in the incident. The Houston Fire Department reported that 16 units were damaged in the fire.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
