Apollo makes available long-term private investment options on iCapital's trading platform
iCapital, a leading fintech platform for accessing alternative investments, has announced an expansion of its partnership with global alternative asset manager Apollo. This partnership aims to provide wealth managers and their clients with a broader menu of alternative investment solutions in a Luxembourg format.
Marco Bizzozzo, Head of International at iCapital, expressed delight at continuing to support Apollo and unlock new private market investment opportunities for the wealth management channel. Apollo's managing director and head of EMEA global wealth, Véronique Fournier, also expressed pleasure at extending the partnership with iCapital.
Apollo has listed five evergreen private markets products on iCapital Marketplace. These Luxembourg-domiciled products are fully funded and available at investment minimums starting from $25,000. The investments in Apollo's evergreen private markets via the fintech platform are backed by institutional investors such as pension funds, insurance companies, endowments, and family offices.
Apollo will use iCapital Marketplace for reporting and investor lifecycle management for its evergreen structures. The partnership with iCapital also includes educational tools and resources supporting the diversification of client portfolios.
In a related development, BlackRock has launched an evergreen private markets platform. However, no additional facts were provided about the BlackRock platform in this announcement.
The partnership between iCapital and Apollo focuses on providing private markets as a means of diversification to the portfolios of wealth investors. iCapital has grown its product and platform solutions for evergreen funds, and opportunities for liquidity on a periodic basis are offered for these funds on iCapital Marketplace.
