Robbery at a Veterinary Clinic in Cologne-Mülheim

A robbery took place at a veterinary clinic in Elisabeth-Breuer-Straße, Cologne-Mülheim, on September 2nd. The perpetrator, described as a slim, approximately 35-year-old man standing at 1.85 meters tall, made off with several hundred euros.

According to witnesses, the suspect wore dark, oversized clothing, black latex gloves, and had short black hair, fair skin, and a goatee. He did not identify himself during the crime and was seen wearing a black and grey striped bag.

The robbery occurred around 15:45, with the suspect posing as a customer and positioning himself in the queue at the reception before threatening the 24-year-old cashier with a black kitchen knife with a brown handle. No injuries were reported as a result of the robbery.

Investigators are urging witnesses with information about the suspect's identity, the black and grey striped bag, or the knife used in the robbery to contact the Criminal Commissioner 14 by phone or email. They are also seeking any information that could help identify the suspect's whereabouts at the time of writing, as his location remains unknown.

In a separate incident, a 17-year-old male suspect, a student at the vocational college in Essen, was arrested after attacking a 45-year-old female teacher with a knife and fleeing. However, there are no publicly available eyewitnesses or others directly identified who saw the man before or after the attack, making it unclear if this individual is connected to the Cologne-Mülheim robbery.

The police investigations are ongoing in both cases. If you have any information that could help, please contact the authorities.
