Arrest occurs after thorough investigation of a 58-year-old resident from Main-Kinzig district.

The South East Hesse Police Headquarters has confirmed that a 58-year-old man from the Main-Kinzig district was provisionally arrested on Tuesday morning in connection with the murder of a 45-year-old woman in Nidderau. The suspect's arrest follows an extensive investigation that spanned several weeks and involved multiple police departments.

The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, was taken into custody in the early morning hours of Tuesday, 15 July. According to the South East Hesse Police Headquarters, extensive trace evidence measures and witness interviews were carried out at the locations where the suspect was arrested.
