Arrest of Three Suspects Caught in the Act of Burglary at Short Distance
In an early morning operation on August 14, 2025, three suspected burglars were temporarily arrested in Bonn-Holzlar. The arrest took place at a clubhouse on Siebengebirgsstraße, following a vigilant witness's tip.
According to the Bonn Police, the suspects had allegedly broken into the clubhouse around 04:25 AM, using tools to force the entrance door open. The information in this case was originally transmitted by Police Bonn via news aktuell.
The car used by the suspects was reported as stolen in Cologne-Longerich at the end of July. During the arrest, investigators secured more suspected stolen goods from the vehicle. Some of these items could be linked to a burglary in the rooms of a church in Herzogsfreudenweg, Bonn-Röttgen.
The suspects were apprehended thanks to the witness's quick action, who observed a flashlight beam in the rooms. After undergoing identification procedures and having their apartments searched, the suspects were released, but further investigations are ongoing.
