Arrest Warrant Lifted After Fine and Costs Paid by BPOLI LUD

The German Federal Police (Bundespolizei) has made an interesting development in a four-month-long case involving a 38-year-old Romanian man wanted for neglecting to pay a fine for forgery of evidence.

According to a report from the Bundespolizei Inspection Ludwigsdorf, transmitted via news aktuell, the man entered Germany through the A4 Highway at Goerlitz yesterday evening. Upon his arrival, he was stopped by the Federal Police, who presented him with a choice: pay the fine and continue his journey, or be taken into custody.

The man chose to pay the fine and court costs, transferring a total of 1,581.00 euros to settle the debt. As a result, the arrest warrant for the man was lifted, and he was allowed to continue his journey.

Michael Engler, the Press Spokesperson for Bundespolizei Inspection Ludwigsdorf, confirmed the incident. He can be reached at telephone 0 35 81 - 3626-6110 or via email at [email protected].

At the time of writing, the report does not specify the current location of the man. The web address for Bundespolizei is www.bundespolicei.de, where more information may be found as it becomes available.

It is worth noting that this incident marks a unique resolution to a wanted case, demonstrating the Federal Police's commitment to upholding the law while also facilitating the smooth movement of individuals across borders.
