Arrested suspect for alleged burglary by Polish authorities

A 32-year-old man has been arrested and is now in custody following a series of crimes in the Norden city area and the Süderneuland district. The suspect was apprehended last week during a shoplifting incident at the Norder Tor.

The crimes, which include burglaries, trespassing, attempted break-ins, and thefts, have been ongoing since the summer. The investigations into the suspect's possible other offenses are continuing.

The Norden police have managed to solve a series of burglaries in the city area. The investigations were significantly aided by the recordings from some residents' and victims' surveillance cameras.

The Police Inspectorate Aurich/Wittmund Press Office has confirmed the arrest and the series of solved burglaries. For inquiries, you can contact Wiebke Baden at telephone: 04941 606104, email: [email protected], or visit their website at http://www.pi-aur.polizei-nds.de.

The 32-year-old suspect was brought before the judge at the Norden court last week. However, the name of the suspect arrested during a burglary attempt in Norden and suspected since summer of multiple burglaries, attempts, and thefts in Norden and the Süderneuland district was not explicitly mentioned in the available search results.

It is important to note that a 30-year-old suspect from Nordenham was reported in connection with thefts and damages in Nordenham around early September 2025, but the name is not given.

Stay tuned for further updates as the investigations continue.
