Artisans at Haferlmarkt back charitable institution for kids
The Landshuter Haferl Market, an annual event held in the Freyung area of Landshut, has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the St. Vinzenz Children's Home. This year's market, which took place at the beginning of September, raised approximately 3,650 euros.
The Landshuter Keramikschule, a school of ceramic arts, played a significant role in this year's fundraising efforts. Approximately 30 ceramic artists from the school showcased their work at the market, with a portion of the sales going directly to the children's home.
Kerstin Klebl and Wolfgang Sturm, representatives of the ceramic artists, expressed their pleasure at the success of the fundraising action. They stated that their aim was to make the children's daily life more beautiful through art. Julia Berger and Sophia Kroeninger, employees at the St. Vinzenz Children's Home, expressed their gratitude for the financial support.
Mayor Alexander Putz, who officially handed over the donation at the Haferl Market, expressed his delight that the creative work of ceramic artists benefits the children's home. He further emphasised that the Haferl Market provides a special experience for visitors and contributes to the St. Vinzenz Children's Home.
