August 18 Voting Documents for Both Direct and Postal Voting in Barmen
Voting in the upcoming election for the city council, district representatives, and mayor is scheduled for September 14, 2025. Here's what you need to know to ensure your vote is counted.
Where to Vote
Voting booths will be located in Room A-350 on the third floor of Barmen Town Hall. If you reside in the voting district of Grifflenberg, you can also find mail-in ballot distribution there. The distribution of mail-in ballots will begin on August 18, 2025, with Grifflenberg's distribution taking place in the afternoon of August 20, 2025, due to a recent candidate's passing.
Voting Hours
Direct voting hours at Barmen Town Hall are as follows: - Monday to Wednesday: 8:00 to 16:00 - Thursday: 8:00 to 17:30 - Friday: 8:00 to 12:30
On September 12, extended hours will be available until 15:00. On election day, polling stations will be open from 8:00 to 18:00.
What You'll Need
To vote, you will need a valid personal identification card, identification card, or passport. Please note that mail-in ballots can only be issued to the applicant personally.
