Authorities are currently examining a driver's activities
On August 18, 2025, a hit-and-run traffic accident occurred on Muhlenuhrstraße in Celle. According to the latest reports, the incident involved a Tesla and a VW.
The Tesla, travelling towards Thaerplatz, suddenly slowed down, causing a collision with the VW. Both vehicles sustained damage, with the VW being severely damaged and rendered undrivable.
The driver of the Tesla, a 21-year-old individual, fled the scene but was subsequently identified by the police and later arrested in connection with the accident. The driver of the VW, a 45-year-old person, was also involved in the accident.
The exact cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
