On the morning of June 11, at 00:35, a 41-year-old man from Oberhausen was involved in a serious traffic accident on the A52 near Dorsten. The accident occurred shortly after the Dorsten-Ost exit, towards Haltern.

According to the Münster Police, who transmitted the information via news aktuell, the man collided with a guardrail and came to a stop for unknown reasons. He then fled on foot towards an adjacent lake. Police officers, with the help of a police dog and a helicopter, managed to locate and apprehend the man.

Emergency services treated the man at the scene before transporting him to a hospital. The man's condition following the accident remains unclear, as no further information about his current state was provided in the article.
