In a series of break-ins, unknown perpetrators have targeted various establishments in the cities of Recklinghausen, Herten, Gladbeck, and Waltrop. The local police authority, the Police Headquarters Recklinghausen (Polizeipräsidium Recklinghausen), is investigating these incidents.

Meanwhile, in Gladbeck, a resident heard a suspicious noise and observed two darkly dressed persons running away from their neighbour's house. Upon investigation, it was found that the front door had been forced open, but it remains unclear whether any stolen goods were taken.
Unfortunately, in Waltrop, unknown perpetrators managed to break into a supermarket on Graudenzer Straße between the hours of 03:55 AM and the discovery of the break-in. Despite triggering an alarm, the perpetrators were able to flee undetected, leaving no stolen goods behind.
