Authorities are on the hunt for the perpetrator
A hit-and-run traffic accident occurred on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in Lachendorf, Germany. The incident took place on Oppershäuser Straße (local bypass of the L 311) at house number 15.
According to information transmitted via news aktuell by Police Station Celle, a blue VW was parked in the location where the accident occurred and was presumably damaged by another vehicle between 10:00 and 13:45. The driver who caused the damage and left the scene remains unknown.
The police in Wathlingen and Police Station Celle are both involved in the investigation. Witnesses are asked to contact the police in Wathlingen at telephone number 05144-49546.
