Authorities are searching for onlookers and affected parties in the train incident.
A disturbing incident took place on a train between Albstadt and Tübingen on August 26, 2025. According to the Federal Police Inspectorate Stuttgart, a 40-year-old German citizen allegedly threatened a 15-year-old passenger with Polish citizenship.
The incident occurred around 15:15. The suspect, who has yet to be identified, reportedly threatened the teenager with violence and attempted to spit at other passengers. Thankfully, an eyewitness intervened and prevented the suspect from carrying out the threat.
The Federal Police arrested the 40-year-old German citizen at the regional train stop in Tübingen. The victim, who remains unnamed, has not been described further in the reports. It is not confirmed that the eyewitness was the same individual who was threatened by the suspect.
