Authorities are seeking individuals who may have observed a particular event.
On the morning of August 27, 2025, a daring attempted burglary took place at a goldsmith's shop located on Lübecker Straße in Bad Schwartau. Three unknown men, all over 185cm tall and muscular, were caught on camera attempting to break into the shop between 3:00 and 3:30 AM.
The men were dressed in black and carried large red bags. Upon being noticed by a witness, they fled towards a car park in Auguststraße. According to the police, they left the scene in a presumably dark small car with stolen license plates.
The Criminal Police in Bad Schwartau has initiated investigations due to the suspicion of attempted aggravated theft. Witnesses are being sought who may have observed the incident in Auguststraße and can provide information about the fleeing men and the small car.
