A dog whose whereabouts remain unknown is causing concern in the Schermbeck-Bricht district of Weseler Straße. The incident occurred on July 18, 2025, at around 14:15, when the dog ran onto the road from a nearby cornfield, approximately 50 meters after the "Tiefer Weg" junction.

According to reports obtained from news aktuell, the dog collided with a 23-year-old man's vehicle as he was heading towards Schermbeck. The impact of the collision sent the dog onto the opposite lane, where it was struck by an oncoming 56-year-old driver from Wesel.

The dog is described as a medium-sized, black dog with white spots. Its current condition is unknown, and it is yet to be found. The police in Dinslaken are urging witnesses and the dog's owner to come forward with any information that could help locate the missing pet.
