Stuttgart Police Investigate Tuesday Afternoon Accident on Neue Weinsteige
An accident involving a 58-year-old woman driving a VW Golf and an unknown driver of a VW Touran with a Stuttgart license plate occurred on Neue Weinsteige in Stuttgart-Süd on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at around 3:00 PM.
According to the Stuttgart Police, the incident took place while the 58-year-old woman was driving eastbound on the right lane. The unknown driver is believed to have switched lanes multiple times during their journey, including from the left to the right lane at house number 135.
The 58-year-old woman swerved right to avoid a collision with the Touran, resulting in damage to her right front wheel. The estimated damage caused by the accident is several hundred euros.
Witnesses are asked to contact the traffic police at +4971189904100. The driver of the yellow Touran is described as approximately 60 to 70 years old, with a heavy build and a red, scarred face.
