In the early hours of February 20, 2025, a rented Mercedes vehicle veered off the road in Schwarenbergstraße, Stuttgart-East, causing significant damage and injuring a 14-year-old boy.
The incident, which occurred around 08:20 AM near Staibenäcker Street, began with a rear-end collision. The Mercedes driver, whose identity remains unknown, is suspected of causing this collision before veering off the road. The driver then pushed three parked vehicles together, including a scooter, two bicycles, a traffic sign, and a parking meter, before coming to a stop on a sidewalk.
The Mercedes driver brushed against the 14-year-old boy before fleeing the scene on foot. Emergency services attended to the lightly injured boy and took him to a hospital.
